Counterfeiting is a problem that is only increasing with time and as the counterfeit items begin to look more realistic. It becomes hard for the consumers to spot the difference. With Snap4Ori, consumers have something they can interact with to ascertain if an item they bought is fake or genuine. This system is leveraging on Quick Response (QR) Code Technology printed on a security hologram label which enable consumers to verify products authenticity through mobile application for smartphone users and dedicated web portal for non-smartphone users. The web portal is also able to support the enforcement officers to cross-checks the serial code of the hologram label and operation staff in processing the security hologram label request made by the applicant.
